Kroger was looking to reinvent the convenience meals category by focusing on younger consumers interested in preparing easy, unique, and flavorful meals. An innovative line of meals inspired by Latin cuisine was created to deliver a trend-forward, restaurant-quality food adventure.
Brandimage immersed ourselves in understanding the Hispanic food culture, diverse flavors, and social spontaneity of sharing great food discoveries on-the-go. Delivering a “taco-truck fresh” experience was our goal to capitalize on the trend of fresh, delicious tasting food that is easy to prepare and share. The experience was conveyed through semiotic codes leveraging vibrant and lively color palettes, the free-form handwritten chalkboard, and photography that captures the essence of a fresh taco created right in front of you.
