Created on the initiative of Edouard Carmignac and manages by Charles Carmignac, Fondation Carmignac is a corporate foundation with two main focuses: an art collection of close to 300 works, and the Photojournalism Award given out annually. The Villa Carmignac, an exhibition space open to the public, opened in Porquerolles in 2018 to showcase the collection and to host cultural and artistic activities.
Brandimage took inspiration in the founder’s artistic vision ‘the Self that blends into something immense’ to design the identity of the Carmignac Foundation. We created a brand symbol that is composed of a set of points, a brand that evolves by adapting a different colorimetry for La Fondation and La Villa. The blue color embodies the Foundation's project and reinforces the identity. As for the dawn color, this solar yellow underlines the Villa's integration into the Porquerolles’ island landscape. A new proprietary typography, an elegant and simple creation supports the symbol.
A brand that conveys and clearly communicates the specificity of the foundation and its strong artistic ambition.
