Brandimage creates the new visual territory for the ALD Automotive brand

PARIS , February 3rd, 2020

Paris, February 3, 2020 — Brandimage, a leading global consultancy of brand equity architects and designers, announced the launch of the new visual territory created for the ALD Automotive brand.

A new dynamic for the company and the brand

As a leader in mobility solutions, ALD Automotive, the long-term leasing subsidiary of the Société Générale Group, continues to push back the frontiers of mobility with the mission of offering increasingly innovative and tailor-made solutions.

With the aim of supporting the brand's ambitions and positioning ALD Automotive as a player that anticipates tomorrow's mobility challenges, Brandimage created a new brand territory, bringing the brand's spirit to life.   

New brand codes to embody mobility

Simpler, more direct, more flexible, the new graphic codes are based on the concept of the mobility line, the key element of the new territory. A continuous line always in action that becomes the brand's reference code; a mobility line to stay always connected, that adapts to the needs and desires of everyone. The mobility line becomes a strong identifier, used on all the brand's communications and media. It is the expression of ALD Automotive's freedom, movement and dynamism.

Celebrating blue

Based on the brand's historic color, Brandimage developed a prism of blues: from a digital blue to a luminous blue; the palette reinforces the digital ambition and brings a high-tech dimension to the mobility offer.

 

An embodied photographic style

In order to anchor the brand in a close relation to its customers, the agency created a lively iconographic style around visuals focusing on people that stage and put into action real moments of mobility. In addition, immersive images enrich the iconographic palette.

The choice of a digital typography

To position the brand in a modern style, Google fonts have been selected to give the brand’s messages a bold and modern tone.

International deployment

As part of the launch of the new brand territory, Brandimage produced a launch film distributed on five continents to the 43 subsidiary countries. A graphic manual ensures the cohesive deployment of the new brand style. The official launch is scheduled for February 3, 2020.
